About the race
The race.
The D&I Fitness Annual Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning in South Orange, NJ, with a 5K option, a 3.1-mile option, and a 2-mile walking loop. The event starts and finishes at D&I Fitness, located at 9 West South Orange Avenue. A portion of proceeds benefits MEND, a nonprofit supporting food pantry networks with fresh food, funding, and volunteer coordination. Participants are encouraged to donate shelf-stable food items such as peanut butter, tuna, milk, cereal, rice, or beans during November or on race day.
