Day of the Dead Half Marathon - Houston 2026

The race.

The Day of the Dead Half Marathon takes place October 17, 2026, in Houston, TX, starting at Kingdom Builders Center at 8 a.m. Five race distances are offered: a 20-yard Kids Dash (for ages 10 and under), a 1-mile race, a 3.11-mile course, a 6.55-mile race, and the full 13.1-mile half marathon. All finishers receive medals and t-shirts. The post-race celebration features food, drinks, live music, and DJ announcements. A pre-race costume contest awards the Day of the Dead Best Costume Award. Aid stations provide water and support along the course. Youth pricing (ages 12 and under) is available for select distances.
