Eastwood Baptist 5k 2026

Date: October 17, 2026

Location : Haughton High School, 210 E. McKinley Ave, Haughton LA 71037.

The race will be held on the west side of campus on N. Hazel St next to the football field.

Start Time: 7:30 AM - Kids Fun Run

8:00 AM - 5K

Course Description:

The 5K course will begin at Haughton High School (in the football parking lot), travel south on N Hazel St, turning west on E Jefferson Ave and making the loop back onto E Taylor St traveling east. The course will then continue east onto E. McKinley Ave to an out and back turnaround, then traveling back to N Hazel St ending in the Haughton High football parking lot where the race started. The route is very flat and fast with a net zero elevation gain so expect some PR's!

Chip Timing and Race Management performed on site by Rad Racing.

Early packet pickup will begin on October 15 at Eastwood Baptist Church at 2810 Highway 80, Haughton, LA 71037.

October 15: 6 pm - 8 pm

October 16: 6 pm - 8 pm

Race morning ( Oct 17): 6 am - 7:15 am

Finisher's medals and t-shirts will be provided for ALL participants!

CASH prizes for overall Men and Women. 1st Place - $125, 2nd place - $75, 3rd Place, $50 . No age group awards. T-shirts can only be guaranteed if registered by October 2nd.

For those that wish to not participate in the run, volunteers are always needed! There will be an aid station table at the turnaround point, and there will be refreshments post race.
