About the race
The race.
On September 20, 2026, participants can register for a 5K or 1-mile race at Charnow Park in Hollywood, Florida. The chip-timed event features a flat course and awards the top 3 overall finishers and top 3 finishers in each age group category. Following the race, a community beach cleanup takes place on the sand. All proceeds benefit Heal the Planet, a local nonprofit organization that provides environmental education and community programs to schools and residents in South Florida.
