The race.
The Farmers Market 5K Run/Walk takes place on August 15, 2026, in Shelbyville, Indiana, starting and finishing at the Shelbyville Farmers Market. The 5K course is chip-timed on paved roads. Awards include animal trophies for the top three overall finishers and first through third place in each age group. Participants receive race shirts and snacks. A free quarter-mile kids run for children 10 and under starts at 7:45 a.m. The event benefits Healthy Shelby, a program supporting Shelby County community charities.
