Gatorade Middle School & Youth Championships 2026

The race.

The Gatorade Middle School & Youth Championships takes place November 14, 2026, in Danville, AL, at Oakville Indian Mounds Park & Educational Center. Six divisions compete across 2-mile and 1-mile distances: girls and boys 7th–8th grade (2 miles starting at 9:00 and 9:30), girls and boys 5th–6th grade (2 miles starting at 10:00 and 10:30), and girls and boys 4th grade and under (1 mile starting at 11:00 and 11:20). All participants receive a tee shirt; top 20 runners in each division earn special awards, and top three teams in each division receive trophies. Awards ceremonies are held at 10:15, 11:00, and 12:00 for their respective divisions. Preregistration costs $30 and closes November 12 at midnight; late registration on race day begins at 7 a.m. for $40. Packet pickup begins at 7 a.m. at the registration tent near the finish line. A $5 parking fee applies per vehicle.
