About the race

The race.

The GO GRAY FOR A CURE 5K takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Johns Creek, Georgia at Cauley Creek Park. The 3.1-mile run/walk starts at 9:00 AM and is USATF certified and chip-timed. Packet pickup is available Friday, May 15, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Big Peach Running in Suwanee, or on race day starting at 8:00 AM at the park. Registration closes May 2 to guarantee a t-shirt. All finishers receive a medal and race bib, with awards given to top three overall finishers and age-group winners across 16 age categories. The event supports Go Gray for a Cure, a nonprofit funding brain cancer research. A remembrance ceremony and survivor walk begin at 10:15 AM, followed by the award ceremony at 10:30 AM. Virtual participation is available May 16–31.
