The race.
The Goat Cliff Road Race is a one-mile paved road race held on September 5, 2026, in Clayton, Georgia, starting on Acorn Creek Road. The course includes a 500-foot elevation gain along Sonya Road. All proceeds benefit the local volunteer fire department. Finishers receive a t-shirt, and medals are awarded to top finishers across seven divisions: men's, women's, little kids (8 and under), growing kids (ages 9–10), big kids (ages 11–13), and seniors (60 and older). Space and parking are limited.
