GutCheck Cape Cod 2026

The race.

GutCheck Cape Cod is a point-to-point adventure race held September 19, 2026, in Nickerson State Park in Brewster, Massachusetts. The course combines running (4–6 miles on technical trails), biking (5–10 miles with steep hills), and either swimming (0.5–1.0 miles) or paddleboarding (1–1.5 miles), with navigation between pre-marked checkpoints using supplied laminated maps. Participants compete solo or in teams of two, three, or four persons, with all team members racing together and finishing simultaneously; expected completion time is 1–2 hours. This USA Triathlon–sanctioned event requires either an annual USAT membership or a one-day Bronze membership ($14.99). Participants must bring their own road bike, helmet, paddle board or arrange rental, running shoes, and life vest or safety buoy; the race supplies laminated maps.
