Halloween Trick or Trot Run 5K/10K/13.1 CHICAGO/EVANSTON 2026

The race.

On October 31, 2026, The Best Races will host a Halloween-themed run in Chicago with 5K and 10K distance options. Participants may choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 AM, with coordinators available for three hours after the first wave. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to run or walk. Registration includes a technical running shirt (shipped to a US address), finisher's medal, finisher's towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, and online certificate of completion. Timing is optional; runners may track their own time using apps or request coordinator assistance. A virtual run option is also available. Waves fill on a first-come, first-served basis and will close when full.
