Thanksgiving Gobble Trot Run 5K/10K/13.1 CHICAGO/EVANSTON 2026

The race.

The Thanksgiving Gobble Trot takes place November 28, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois, offering 5K and 10K distances. Participants can choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 a.m., with coordinators available for three hours after the first wave. Registration includes a race bib provided on race day, a running t-shirt shipped to your registered address, a finisher's medal, a finisher's towel or giveaway item, and a digital training pack. Timing is optional; runners may track their own time using a personal app or request coordinator assistance, with results posted online. All ages and paces are welcome to run or walk, and a virtual run option is available for those unable to participate in person.
