Head For The Hills 2026

The race.

Head For The Hills takes place October 3, 2026, in Moreland Hills, Ohio, at the Lang Pavilion in the Chagrin River valley. The event features a 5K run, 1.5-mile hike, and 1-mile option, with registration opening at 8:00 a.m. and all events starting at 9:00 a.m. The 5K is chip-timed; the hike is self-guided. Registration fees and donations support the Moreland Hills Parks Commission. Registered participants in the 5K and hike receive commemorative shirts (must register by September 20) and post-event refreshments. The 5K offers overall and age-group awards (ages 14 & under through 70 & over). On-site massage and recovery services are provided by NovaCare Rehabilitation. Early packet pickup is available October 2 from 4:00–6:30 p.m. at Fleet Feet in Pepper Pike.
