The race.

The Heroes and Villains Half Marathon takes place September 19, 2026, at Walker Place Park in Bossier City, Louisiana. Presented by Bigfoot Running Company, the event offers five distances: a Kids Dash (20 yards for ages 10 and under), a 1-mile fun run, a 5K (3.11 miles), a quarter marathon (6.55 miles), and a half marathon (13.1 miles). All finishers receive a medal and shirt. The costume contest begins at 6:50 AM with prizes including a $25 gift card, free future race entry, and a Bigfoot Prize Pack. Packet pickup runs from 5:30 AM to 6:40 AM, with races starting at 7:00 AM. Age group awards include overall male and female trophies, masters awards for age 40+, and pins for top-three finishers in each age group. Post-race festivities feature a DJ, snacks, refreshments, and an awards ceremony.
