Hickory Summer Track Series 2026

The race.

The Hickory Summer Track Series takes place Thursdays in June 2026 at Lenoir Rhyne University's outdoor track in Hickory, NC. Competitors participate in track events including sprints (100M, 200M, 400M), distance runs (1 mile, 2 miles, 800M), relays (4x100M), and field events (long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, discus). Participants earn series points across all four Thursday dates, with age groups ranging from 5 and under through 60 and older. To qualify for age group and series awards, competitors must participate in at least two of the four scheduled events. Online registration closes at 11 a.m. on each event day; same-day registration is available from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with a $5 fee increase. Youth ages 6 to 18 can access training led by Coach Jimmy Fuller at Hickory High School.
