HQ2 Cross Country Mission: Our Mission is to continue to be the best running camp in the nation by helping all runners have a fun and healthy experience with the sport of running! We strive to teach all aspects of running, leadership, team building, positive mental, emotional, and physical skills! We are passionate about education and developing people with World Class Instruction!

Performance We develop athletes to be the best version of themselves through performance and life leadership! We offer a huge variety of fun activities and educational options! We will have professional coaches, athletes, NCAA coaches/athletes, and excellent guest speakers from across the country/world.

Tradition Founded with John Osler in 1969, and continued with Kermit Ambrose in the 1970s-1990's, both Stu ('71) and Dr. Drew ('89), began as campers, then counselors, co-directors and directors. Many of our staff have been with us since the mid 1990's. We have both evolved with current science and remained stead-fast in the hard work traditions of Kermit. We still eliminate electronics and cell phones and focus on running, education, and relationships.

Leadership We have an excellent staff who teach leadership skills in the dorms, in running and in our educational programs. We teach communication, teamwork and educational components. We teach many lifestyle choices to help athletes return to their teams as a better teammate and person. Our programming is designed to enhance all coaching philosophies. We teach mechanics, nutrition, sports psychology, goal setting, attitude, teamwork and other ideas that enhance all programs.

Outstanding Camp Activities: Outdoor Pool, Slip-n-slide, High Ropes Course, Climbing Wall, Game Room, 9-Square-In-The-Air, Disc Golf, Sand Volleyball, Basketball, GaGa Ball, Hiking Trails.
