Hub City Races: Half, 10K & 5K 2026

The race.

Hub City Races offers a 10K and 5K on September 13, 2026, in Crown Point, Indiana, organized by Hometown Happenings. Both races feature chip timing on an out-and-back course through the streets of Crown Point, starting and finishing at Lake County Fairgrounds. The 10K begins at 7:45 a.m. and the 5K at 8:00 a.m. Four water stops along the course provide water and Gatorade, with three port-a-potties available. Race awards include top overall, top master (40+), and top three in each age group; finisher medals go to the first 400 registered participants. Registration and packet pickup occur from 6:30 to 7:40 a.m. the morning of the race. Entry costs $35 for the 10K and $30 for the 5K, with optional race shirts available for $16 through August 31. Post-race food includes Carriage Court Pizza.
