Mumfest MUMosa 5k & Fun Run 2026

The race.

Mumfest MUMosa 5K & Fun Run takes place October 11, 2026, in downtown New Bern, NC, hosted by New Bern Parks and Recreation as part of the Mumfest weekend festival. Participants can choose between a 5K or a 1-mile fun run on a partially closed course through the festival area. Registration costs $30 for the 5K and $20 for the fun run through August 31st, increasing to $40 for the 5K thereafter; those who register by August 31st receive a race shirt. The top 3 overall finishers in each gender earn awards in the 5K, along with age group winners (10 and under through 80+). Complimentary mimosas are provided at the finish line.
