The Nags Head Sunrise 5K Beach Race Series takes place on August 6, 2026, at Jennette's Pier in Nags Head, NC, featuring a 3.1-mile 5K and 1-mile option, both starting at 8 AM. The OBX Running Company presents this chip-timed, family-friendly event with late registration and walk-up available from 7 to 7:45 AM on race morning. Race fees are $45 for adults and $40 for youth 17 and under, and include a chip-timed race entry, event t-shirt, finisher medal, and post-race breakfast with refreshments. The 5K offers awards for top male and female finishers in overall placement (1st–3rd), 14 and under, and Masters (40 and over) categories. All participants receive a finisher medal and summer series shirt.
