The race.
The Navy Federal Credit Union 5K takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Winchester, VA, starting and finishing at 141 Security Drive. Participants can choose between a 5K distance or the Sammie Sprint option. Proceeds benefit Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity. Awards are presented to overall top finishers by gender and hand cyclist/wheelchair categories, plus top three finishers by gender in each age group. Water stations operate throughout the course and at the finish, with post-race food and refreshments available, including coffee for purchase.
