The race.
Night of the Running Dead takes place Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 5400 E Ocean Blvd in Long Beach, CA. The event features a 1-mile race, 5K, and 10K on a flat beach path course. Check-in and registration begin at 4:00 PM, with the half marathon starting at 5:00 PM, the 5K and 10K at 6:30 PM, and the 1-miler at 6:45 PM. All finishers receive medals, and overall and age group awards are given. Water stations are available on course, and race-day photos are provided free. A costume contest is part of the event, and runners of all paces are welcome.
