Parkie’s 5K 2026

The race.

Parkie's 5K takes place August 22, 2026, at the Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Complex, featuring a 5K run, 10K run, 1-Mile Fun & Family Walk, and 100-yard dash. The 5K and 10K begin at 8:00 am; packet pickup for pre-registered participants is August 21 from 3:00–7:00 pm. All 5K finishers receive commemorative medals, with award medals presented to top overall finishers and top three in each age category (10 and under through 75+). Participants registered by August 1 are guaranteed t-shirts; later registrants receive shirts subject to availability. The 1-Mile Walk is untimed and open to ages 4+, with registered walkers ages 5+ receiving t-shirts and medals. Same-day registration opens at 6:30 am on race day.
