The race.
Paws for Life takes place on October 3, 2026, in Rolesville, NC, starting and finishing at Sanford Creek Elementary School. The event features a 3.1-mile run beginning at 10 am and a 1-mile walk open to participants and their dogs. Race proceeds benefit Paws for Life Animal Rescue's efforts to construct an animal shelter. The 5K awards first place overall to the top three male and top three female finishers, plus first place in each of 12 age groups ranging from 15-under through 65-over.
