The race.

Run Juneteenth Day 5K/10K/13.1 ATLANTA takes place on June 20, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, offering four distance options: 1 mile, 5K, 10K, and half marathon. Participants may choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 a.m., with the final wave at 8:30 a.m.; coordinators remain on-site for three hours after the first wave. All ages and paces are welcome, including walkers, with guardians required for those under 18. Finishers receive a race shirt (shipped to U.S. addresses the week of the race), finisher's medal, towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, and online certificate. Timing is optional and can be tracked via personal running apps or with coordinator assistance. A virtual run option is available for participants unable to attend in person. Registration waves fill on a first-come, first-served basis and close when capacity is reached.
