Run With Shears takes place on May 16, 2026, in Indianapolis, IN, featuring a 5K and a Kids' 911 Yard Dash. The event benefits the Indiana EMS Memorial project next to the Indiana Statehouse, honoring emergency medical technicians and paramedics who died in service. The USATF-sanctioned 5K course runs along Downtown Canal. Participants receive medals and shirts, with kids' race medals included. The kids' 911 Yard Dash registration is $5 per child.
