Scio Scramble 2026

The race.

The Scio Scramble takes place on August 20, 2026, in Scio, OH, featuring a 1-mile fun run, a 1-mile family fun run/walk, and a 5K race. The 1-mile fun run and family fun run/walk start at 6:15 p.m., with the 5K following at 7:00 p.m. The out-and-back course uses city streets and a paved rail trail, starting beside the firehouse lot and finishing below the Scio Branch Library. All participants receive a t-shirt and goody bag, with water stations twice on the course. Awards for the 5K are presented at the firehouse following the race, along with drinks, door prizes, and ice cream. Restrooms and showers are available at the firehouse.
