About the race
The race.
The Sloth Run offers 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and 1-mile distances in Kansas City on June 20, 2026. Participants may choose from four staggered waves beginning at 7:30 a.m., with late arrivals accommodated on the day of the race. Registration is capped per wave and fills on a first-come, first-served basis. Finishers receive a tech running shirt (shipped before race day), finisher's medal, finisher's towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, and certificate of completion. Timing is optional; participants may track their own time using fitness apps or request coordinator assistance. A virtual run option is available. Race bibs are distributed on race day, and packet pickup is not required.
