The race.

The Sloth Run offers 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and 1-mile distances in San Francisco on August 29, 2026. Participants can choose from four staggered wave start times beginning at 7:30 a.m., running or walking at their own pace with optional timing tracked via personal apps or coordinator assistance. Registration is capped per wave and fills on a first-come, first-served basis. Finishers receive a technical running shirt (shipped to a U.S. address before race day), finisher's medal, towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, and online certificate of completion. A virtual run option is also available. The Best Races donates $1 per mile logged after the race to partner charities through their optional fundraising program.
