About the race

The race.

The Max Pound Foundation hosts a 5K Race/Walk and 0.5-mile Fun Run on June 7, 2026, in Fairfax, VA, to benefit pediatric brain cancer research. Participants of all ages can register for the standard 5K, a student-rate option, or the half-mile Fun Run. Register by May 8 to receive a race t-shirt. Volunteers are also needed for the event.
