The Big Run Presented by Brooks takes place on June 3, 2026, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Participants can follow a marked 3.1-mile route starting on Orange Street, turning right on Julia, left on Sams, then right onto the Washington sidewalk to Riverside, crossing via the designated crosswalk to the running path toward the Drawbridge before returning the same way. Wave starts begin at 6:30 PM with subsequent waves departing every few minutes; arrival is encouraged after 5:40 PM for check-in on the store patio. Early registered participants receive a t-shirt (picked up after completion with a wristband), while limited Feetures Socks are available for those who registered after shirts sold out. A post-run party follows with live DJ music, raffles, refreshments, and electrolytes. The event is free and celebrates Global Running Day as a community gathering for running, walking, and socializing, with a 70s costume contest offering Brooks Ghost 18 shoe coupons to winners.
