About the race

The race.

The Dusty Bandita is a gravel cycling race held June 6, 2026, in Ovando, Montana. Three distance options are available: a 45-mile course with approximately 3,000 feet of climbing, an 80-mile course, and a 90-mile course with approximately 6,500 feet of climbing. Registration includes race entry, a race packet with sponsor items, post-race food and beverages, raffle tickets, and a finisher's bandana. Priority registration for MT Alpha Pro members opens January 9 at 8:00 AM; general registration opens January 12 at 8:00 AM. The event is USAC-insured and does not require racing licenses.
