About the race
The race.
The Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation hosts its 10th annual 5K Run/Walk on June 20, 2026, in Princeton, MA, benefiting violence prevention, safety awareness, and gender equality programs. A kids' 100-yard dash runs at 9:00 AM, followed by the 5K at 9:30 AM; virtual participation is also available. Bib and shirt pickup occurs at 8:00 AM race morning at Wachusett Mountain (499 Mountain Rd.) or Friday evening at Tomten Biketown in Leominster. Awards go to top overall finishers and age-group winners across multiple categories from under 18 through 70+. The post-race celebration includes food, an ice cream truck, beer, a DJ, raffle drawings with over 30 items, and kids' activities. A silent online auction runs through 11:30 AM race day and is open to bidders nationwide.
