Walk for Paws 2026

The race.

Walk for Paws takes place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Pleasant Hill City Hall Park in Pleasant Hill, California, benefiting the Contra Costa Humane Society. The 5K walk begins at 9:15 a.m., with registration opening at 9:00 a.m. and activities continuing until 11:30 a.m. Registration costs $35 for early bird (through July 15), $45 regular (July 16–August 29), and $50 on event day; dogs register free. Participants receive access to sponsor booths, the Pup Cup Station, photo opportunities, and a Best Dressed Pup Contest, plus event giveaways. Fundraising is encouraged to support the Humane Society's medical care, adoption services, and foster programs for animals in Contra Costa County.
