About the race
The race.
The 2026 Outrun ALD Virtual 5K takes place September 19, 2026, allowing participants to run, walk, bike, or cheer from anywhere. All funds raised support the University of Minnesota Leukodystrophy Center's ALD research programs. Participants may register for the 5K, make a donation, or do both. T-shirts are provided to registered participants; registration for a t-shirt closes July 24, 2026.
