About the race.
Half Day Forest Preserve hosts two EverFurther formats on the same supported 3.1-mile (5K) trail loop with a central start/finish, a fully stocked aid station each lap, and a personal staging area nearby. The standard Next Loop event starts a new loop every hour from 7:00 AM through the final standard loop at 4:00 PM and concludes at 5:00 PM; completed loops count toward 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, and 50K results. The 40M/50M Challenge starts at 7:00 AM and runs continuously, with a strict 12-hour cutoff at 7:00 PM. The shared gallery keeps photos from both formats together.
