Reading your financials report
Gross collected, discounts, fees, your net, and reconciling against the Stripe transfer.

What is on the financials report?
Order-level money for your whole organization, filterable by event and by status. The columns that matter:
- Gross collected. What athletes actually paid.
- Discounts. What your promo codes gave away.
- Entry revenue and add-on revenue, split so you can see what the extras are worth.
- Application fees. The platform's cut.
- Organizer net. What is yours.
- Expected Stripe transfer. What should land in your bank.
Why are there two totals?
Because a filtered page can mislead. The report shows both:
- Current-page totals, for the rows in front of you.
- Full-filter totals, for everything matching your filter across all pages.
Read the full-filter number when you are reconciling and the page number when you are checking a specific batch. Mixing them up is the single most common misreading of this screen.
What does "expected Stripe transfer" mean?
Your net after platform fees, which is what Stripe should move to your bank. It is derived from the orders, so it is a prediction of the payout rather than a record of one.
What does "not proven" mean on reconciliation?
That PodiumBase has not yet matched that order to a settled Stripe transfer. It is a normal state for recent orders: money in flight has not landed yet.
It becomes worth investigating when an old order still says it. That usually means a Stripe-side issue on that charge, and the Stripe dashboard is where to look next.
Which report answers which question?
- "What did this event make?" Financials, filtered to the event.
- "What sold, and to whom?" Your sales dashboard. See reading your sales dashboard.
- "When does the money arrive?" Your Stripe payouts. See how race directors get paid.
