How to upload photos to your club gallery

Availability: Club admins can upload and arrange club photos. Athletes and race photographers use different upload paths; see how photographers upload race photos or contributing photos to a race.

Where do I upload club photos?

Open your club admin and choose Photos. The upload panel lets you add JPEG, PNG or HEIC photos, several at a time, up to 100 MB each.

1. Under Upload destination, pick the run date the photos belong to, or Club gallery bucket for photos that are not tied to one date.
2. Optionally add a Photographer credit: the name to show with these photos. If you add one, tick "I have permission to publish this photographer credit."
3. Choose Choose photos and select your files.

While the upload runs, the panel shows "Uploading to" and the destination, and each photo shows its progress. Choosing Change destination stops the uploads that have not finished yet, so wait for the batch to complete first.

Why is a photo not showing yet?

Uploaded photos are processed and checked before they appear. Until then the gallery section says "Uploaded photos will appear here after processing." A photo can also be held for review or set aside automatically if it is not usable, and it will not appear in the public gallery in that case.

How do I move, credit or feature a photo?

In Place photos and choose covers, each photo has these actions:

• Move to date puts it on a different run date, or back in the club gallery bucket.
• Add credit or Edit credit, then Save credit, sets the photographer's name for that one photo. You confirm you have permission to show it.
• Use as activity cover makes it the cover photo for that run date; Clear activity cover removes it.
• Use as club cover makes it your club page's cover; Clear club cover removes it.

Use Load older photos to reach earlier uploads.

A photo from a private activity cannot be moved into a public gallery date.

Who can see the photos?

That depends on Gallery visibility in your club Settings:

• Public: anyone can view the club gallery and your recurring events. This is the best setting for being found.
• Members only: only active members, and you, can see the gallery and recurring events. Non-members see the club page but not the photos.
