About the race

The race.

The 2026 LVRR July Kids Series takes place July 11 in Allentown at Lehigh Parkway. This free event for children ages 3–14 features six distance options assigned by age group: 1/8 mile for ages 3–4, 1/4 mile for ages 5–6, 1/2 mile for ages 7–8, 1 mile for ages 9–10, 1.5 miles for ages 11–12, and 2 miles for ages 13–14. Online registration is required and closes the Wednesday before race day; no race day registration is available. All participants receive a finisher ribbon, water, and a snack. Wave starts are used for children ages 3–6.
