20th Annual Run for Riley 5 Mile & 5K 2026

Join the Fort Wayne Running Club as we continue the tradition of supporting Riley Children's Hospital with the 20th Annual Run for Riley. Participants may choose between the 5 mile chip timed race or the 5K event.

Both events begin at Maple Creek Middle School and progress to the beautiful paved trails of the Fort Wayne Greenway. The course splits with 5 mile participants going one way and 5K participants going the other way. All participants end on the school track.

Packet pick up will occur on Saturday 10/3 from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the Fleet Feet North Store on Dupont Road. Race day packet pick up will begin at 11:00 am and run until 1:30 pm in the school cafeteria. Please plan to come early and participate in our silent auction. All proceeds from the auction go directly to the Riley foundation. Come early bid high and bid often! The auction will end at the beginning of the race so that when runners/walkers finish they can come see if they won their items. After the event join us in the school cafeteria for the 5 mile race awards and as always the wonderful treats and snacks Run for Riley has become known for. Make sure you stay for the announcement of our donation total to Riley Hospital!!
