The race.
Hero Dogs hosts its 6th Annual Hero Dogs 5K9 on May 16, 2026, at Congressional Cemetery in Washington, DC. Participants can choose among a 5K run, 1K walk, or virtual run/walk option. All finishers receive a medal. Early bird registration ends March 31 at $30; regular registration with t-shirt guarantee closes April 24 at $40. Registration continues through race day, but t-shirt availability is not guaranteed after April 25. Packet pickup occurs at Congressional Cemetery on race day prior to the start; unpicked t-shirts will not be mailed.
