Apex Foundation Trick or Trot 5K & Halloween Hunt 2026

The race.

The Apex Foundation Trick or Trot 5K & Halloween Hunt takes place on October 24, 2026, in Arvada, Colorado. The event features a 3.1-mile race for ages 13 and up, a separate 1-mile Candy Hunt for children 12 and under with trick-or-treat stations along the course, and a pancake breakfast. Participants can compete in costume contests with categories for best individual, couple, group, homemade, and pet costumes. Registered 5K participants receive an event giveaway item and swag bag, with course giveaways available to registered participants only. Children registered in the 5K automatically gain entry to the Halloween Hunt. Proceeds benefit the Apex Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting the Apex Park and Recreation District.
