Description
Event Description
The "Ruck for All Generations" is an inclusive, Rock Island Arsenal hosted event designed to unite Soldiers, Civilians, Veterans, military families, and the broader Quad Cities community. Participants are challenged to form teams of up to 4 members or ruck individually to help reach a collective milestone of 250 miles in honor of America's Semiquincentennial. This event serves as both a physical test of grit and a strategic community-relations initiative. It is aimed at strengthening the bond between the military installation and local residents while honoring the enduring legacy of all generations who have contributed to the Army.
Event Location
This is a flexible challenge designed to meet you where you are. You can participate from any location where you can get your miles in—whether it’s a local trail, a neighborhood sidewalk, or on the installation itself.
Milage Tracking
To maintain the spirit of the event and reflect our shared values, mileage tracking will be conducted using the integrity and honor system. Participants are responsible for accurately reporting their own progress as we work together to conquer the 250-mile goal.
