About the race
The race.
The BOO! Brain Cancer Virtual 5K & 10K Walk/Run takes place throughout October 2026 and can be completed at any time during the month at any location. Participants may choose to walk or run either the 3.1-mile 5K or 6.2-mile 10K distance, or participate in the 25-mile, 200-mile, or 300-mile options. Registration closes September 30th, and all registrants receive an official event medal. Proceeds benefit pediatric brain cancer research and support through Princess Hailey's Hope Foundation. Optional merchandise, including "Childhood Cancer is Boo Sheet" shirts, is available for purchase. Participants can track miles on the race page, join a team, and share their progress on social media using #BooBrainCancer.
