The race.
The Cavalier 5K & 1K takes place May 30, 2026, at The Heights in Potomac, MD. Participants can choose between a 3.1-mile 5K or a 1-kilometer race, both held on campus with the 5K start and finish on campus grounds. Registration is required for all runners and includes an official race shirt and access to a cookout following the event. Multi-person registration is available at $65 for groups of three or more participants. The event welcomes Heights alumni, parents, students, and their families and friends, with volunteer opportunities also available.
