The race.
The Charles Warren Stanley Memorial 5K Walk/Run takes place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, starting at 8:30 AM on the Girard College campus in Philadelphia. This 3.1-mile cross-country style event honors Charles Stanley, a 1967 Girard College graduate and former member of the college's cross-country and track teams. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM, and all participants receive a commemorative t-shirt at registration. Proceeds benefit Girard College athletics. The event welcomes runners, walkers, and spectators as part of Founder's Day Weekend activities.
