Chateau Meichtry 5K 2026

The race.

The Chateau Meichtry 5K takes place on May 16, 2026, at Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard & Winery in Talking Rock, Georgia. The 3.1-mile race starts at 8:30 a.m. on the winery property, running on rural roads around the vineyard. Packet pickup and in-person registration occur from 7:30 a.m. to 8:25 a.m. (with extended hours 7:45–8:15 a.m.) at the winery address on Orchard Lane. All finishers receive a custom medal and dry-fit t-shirt. The post-race festival runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and includes live music, street tacos, chips, bananas, and one complimentary glass of wine or beer for participants age 21 and over. Age group awards and raffle prizes are awarded. Proceeds benefit Ellijay Paws in Need. On-site parking is available in the backside lot off Pleasant Valley Road.
