Día de Muertos - Viva la Vida - 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon by Califlow Runs 2026

The race.

This Day of the Dead-themed race takes place Sunday, November 1, 2026, in Long Beach, California, with three distances: a half marathon starting at 7:00 AM, and a 5K and 10K both starting at 8:00 AM. The race begins and ends at 5400 E Ocean Boulevard. Bib pickup runs from 6:15 to 8:00 AM at the Race Ready Athletics Tent, with a course cutoff time of 10:30 AM. Finishers receive medals, and the race includes chip timing with awards, water stations, restrooms on course, and free race-day photos. A costume contest with prizes is featured, and the event welcomes stroller users and beginners.
