The race.
The Damascus Festival of Miles takes place October 2–3, 2026, in Damascus, Virginia, featuring timed loop races of 3, 6, and 12 hours. Participants run laps on a 1-mile loop course through Damascus Town Park, a mix of paved and trail sections. Race prep and packet pickup begin Friday, October 2; the full race day runs Saturday, October 3, with live music, food trucks, and aid stations at the gazebo. Registered runners may camp overnight Friday in reserved spaces along the course. Awards are given to top three finishers in each race category, plus recognition for those completing the most laps within their time limit.
