Description

The Purple Crusaders are hosting the 5th Annual Longest Day Walk fundraiser and are excited to offer the END ALZHEIMER’S 5K Pee Dee Grand Prix event on Saturday, June 20th at Arrowhead Park in Cheraw. Registration required for 5K Race participants. FREE to Walk! Donations accepted to Purple Crusaders with proceeds to support local initiatives to ENDALZ. The Purple Crusaders are a nonprofit 501c3 organization in the Cheraw/Chesterfield area. Our mission is to advocate for families dealing with Alzheimer's disease by raising funds and awareness for care, support, and research.

End Alzheimer’s 5K

Type: 5k Date: June 20, 2026 Start Time: 8:30am Location: Arrowhead Address: 989 State Rd., Cheraw, SC 29520 Proceeds: The Purple Crusaders quest to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Race Day Schedule:

Packet Pickup – Day of Race 7am to 7:45am at Arrowhead Park Longest Day ceremony and information - 8:00 Race Start Time - 8:30

Shirts: Will be available for all participants who register by June 1, 2026

Shirt Sizes:

Adult – S, M, L, XL, XXL

Youth- S, M, L

5K Awards: (Overall Awards are based on Gun Time)

Overall Male / Female Top 3

Top 3 in each age group

Age Group: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

5K Fees:

$30 until June 1 $35 after June 1 to June 20 $40 race day
