Family & Community Services of Somerset County "Taking Strides Towards Wellness" 5k Run/Walk 2026

The 14th Annual "Taking Strides Towards Wellness" 5K Run/Walk benefits Family & Community Services of Somerset County on October 10, 2026, at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater. Registration and packet pickup begin at 8 AM, with the 5K starting at 9 AM and awards presented at 10:30 AM. The course follows a paved wooded trail paralleling the Raritan River. Awards go to the top 3 overall finishers by gender and top 3 in each of eight age groups (19 and under through 80+). Free t-shirts are provided to all pre-registrants by September 12. Online registration closes October 9, though day-of registration is available. Race proceeds support mental health and addiction treatment services.
