Fishbein / YMCA Community Road Race 2026

The race.

The Fishbein/YMCA Community Road Race takes place on October 4, 2026, in Wallingford, Connecticut. Participants can choose from a 5K run, 10K run, 1-mile youth race, or 1-kilometer walk. Race day check-in opens at 7:00 AM, with the youth race and walk starting at 9:00 AM and the 5K at 9:10 AM. Entry fees for the 5K range from $30 to $40 depending on registration timing; youth under 19 pay $5, the 1-mile youth race costs $5, and the 1K walk is $10. Race bibs are available for advance pickup on Friday, October 2, or race morning. The first 200 5K finishers receive race shirts, and the first 100 walkers receive walk shirts. Awards go to the top three overall finishers in each gender for the 5K and to top finishers across ten age categories. Online registration closes at 8:30 AM on race day.
